if it's true that adam anonymous thing is pure fuckries
u got dudes in magazines writing reviews under female aliases n shit taking shots at artists, reviewers leaking albums online, editors owning labels & giving priority space & overhyped reviews to their own artists
I really got no words for how much the industry disgusts me & it's always the heads who are already broke being fucked over & leeched off
ppl need to start getting exposed for real

They cant really be the same person surely. i think akira the don is wank and have always thought adam annoymous came off as a proper nob in hhc, so it does kind of make sense. someone suggested it to me before that they were the same person but i thought he was called adam alphabet not adam anonnymous. either way he/they are both fucknig pricks. hhc is a load of bollocks generally as well, still buy it evry month though

HaHa, I love random streams of conciousness

I have the fullest respect for Chester, artists behind closed doors bitch and moan about these companies all the time and have done for years . Especially Cargo .

He's just done it openly on the net , and I think its upto independent artists to draw attention to the business so the fans can understand the struggle a bit more .

Plus the download thing is killing hip hop in this country , there's blogs now that you can download even the smallest uk artists releases . Chesters album was on Albumbase before its official release, that takes the piss !

really?

just out of interest what are they called?

lol. judging by the other business moves he's crying about here it dont seem too bad i suppose.

tbh, he should be gratefull that he can even afford 20p noodles. not to mention the cash to use a studio frequently and put out music in the first place. it made me cringe throughout. sounds like he got a big chip on his shoulder. it seems everyone else is to blame for his lp looking like a flop at the moment. shit happens. but i wouldnt be waiting 2 weeks to go to the distro's to sort it out either, whats goin on like? is he assembling an army or suttin?

well sir you certainly got very strong views dont you.... my, my and to think you accuse me of having a chip on my shoulder.....lol to be real if i did have a chip on my shoulder i would eat it its that bad......lol ... i cant take you serious so this is a jokey kind of message.... but see the guy who sent you a private message saying he knows you and so on i will beg him to go easy on you......ha ha you doughnut....ps an army is exactly what i am rallying up and not to deal with skeg ...... stop playing hard and hide.....muppet boy.......

I wouldnt go venting openly about companies, this will not inspire them to sell your CD's,it will do the opposite. There isnt m(any) decent distro out here (or maybe anywhere).[/quote]

I couldnt be arsed reading a peice of text without even basic english skills.

I also think its a little stupid (in many ways) to put this on the internet (Myspace of all places), business isn't supposed to be public like this.

ok thomarse .... i am glad you have vented your concern over my basic english skills especially since the 7th word into your small little bit of writing is spelt wrong you may find peice is supposed to be spelt piece..... secondly hetrophobic is a word i made up in hip hop music we use a thing called slang its not based on the queens english you hesmond..... third thing im dyslexic and left school at 13 and taught myself to read and write and it seems i am a little more articulated than you and i presume you have had mum and dad pay shitloads for your uni fees and that must piss you off sorry.......third thing the best place to air out business is publiclly for it leaves no room for people to lie or fake it cos the world is watching and as seen as i often have conversations with these people in quistion and they more than often say one thing in private and another in public hence my open aproach as well as the fact other artists up and coming will benefit to know about these people....... overall thomarse check yourself(and your spelling) then check me (and my spelling) untill then at least read what your criticising....... and oh yeah sorry for any furthrer spelling issues you may have with me but its not about that.......

Big up chester for speaking his mind. too many ppl talk industry bollocks for fear of pissing someone off that might've helped them further down the line.

At least ches has the courage to stand up and say when something is fucked. and the way he's been treated is most certainly fucked.

And that HHC review, i aint read it but the LP is definitely a good LP, probably some of the best TF material in years, so to pan is is to be unfair. Whether that is linked to Excalibah/Low LIfe/Braintax i dont know...

i would like to point out excalibah was just saying what he had heard he is not a hater i know that he has nothing to do with the issue the fact i mentioned him was to point out that he spoke in a public forum(hhc) out of line and i was trying to redirect that dont hate on him thats not the issue.....next thing i too am not sure hhcs continuos attacks on me are linked to braintax so dont hate on brains either ..... i wrote the blog to let people know i have genuine issues with the guy it dont mean i want people to hate on him i hope you all get that........peace

what are Excalibah's credentials anyway?

he's a top bloke and has been a active part of uk hip hop for time, known for helping many artists out for years before he was at 1Xtra, and continues to do so since leaving the station -

i am in total agreement with this comment excalibah is a top guy and my only issue with him is for not getting my side of the coin before tossing it ....... peace to excalibah....

Distrubution is probably one of the weakest elements with this so-called scene. It needs addressing.

Nice one Geezer, Bill is a safe dude, ive known him for a while now and to be honest cargo hasnt seemed to pull out the sales for everyone. allot (not saying specifically you guys) of artists deliver their CD's to him and expect them to sell out instantly. Were stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea i suppose.
Plus the fact that there is only about independant 50 record shops in the country & most dont touch Hiphop.

As far as ive seen "From the ashes" has had some good press support & I hate to say it,the burning of the oodio may have helped (bad press is good press if you utilise). im sure the CD's will fly out even if your just selling them at jams.

Rock Bottom...
